Who We Are

Many paranormal events can be explained by an investigation of natural environmental conditions. Once natural causes are ruled out, then one must consider that the event(s) maybe paranormal in nature.

4LPR feels that video/audio evidence is both helpful and necessary to validate what the client and our team may have experienced.

Our research techniques have been time-tested for decades, yet are constantly being updated, as the field of Paranormal Research is ever evolving.

I was born and raised in Baraboo, WI and have lived in the Madison area since 2011. I have done Office/Administrative work for over 35 years in areas ranging from manufacturing, retail, banking, hospitality and health care. My first paranormal experience was in the fall of 1994 when I saw a full-body apparition. Since I was a child, I have been interested in things that are “unexplainable”. As an adult, I have been able to focus on unexplained occurrences and investigate by using surveillance and proof to explain or debunk paranormal activity. My goal as an investigator is to help people with their paranormal experiences and provide them with answers, knowledge and peace of mind.

I have been fascinated with the paranormal most of my life.  Given my personality and as evidenced by my chosen profession as an attorney, I am naturally analytical and skeptical.  However, past experiences and an inscrutable sixth sense suggest the existence of an afterlife.  My quest is to get hard provable evidence not only to satisfy my innate incredulity, but also to provide the comfort that life after death represents.  I began formally investigating these mysteries about 10 years ago and in this time, I have participated in approximately 30 investigations of various locations.  Some of these include renowned places such as the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, Pali Lookout in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a north woods cabin frequented by Al Capone in Northern Wisconsin.  Ultimately, Four Lakes Paranormal is here to take your claims seriously and to resolve your concerns if at all possible.

Being a Baby Boomer, I was raised in front of that device that replayed the radio, known as a television. (not everyone had one) That meant that Rod Serling wanted me to travel through another dimension. " A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination." There was a signpost up ahead - my next stop was always, the Twilight Zone!
I also haunted (pardon the pun) the public Library in my hometown. I found myself drawn to the weird, strange and macabre, reading everything I could get my hands on, both fiction and non-fiction.
They say that curiosity killed the cat, but the cat was probably a detective...and just had to know. It was certainly worth the risk. Thus, for most of my adult life, I worked in Law Enforcement. There are very few professions that see more weird, strange and macabre things....for you see, Truth is always stranger Fiction.
Many of the mysteries of the unknown, from my childhood, still exsist. And thus, the questions still need to be asked.
All we need is a little imagination...and curiosity. Thanks, Rod....and all of you cats.
